BiaDelete your Bia account

Bia is made by Allot Me Limited. You can delete your Bia account and everything in it at any time.
In the app (quickest)
- Open Bia and tap the cog, top right on My Plot, to open Settings.
- Scroll to Your data and tap Delete account.
- Tap Download my data first if you’d like a copy, then confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away.
Without the app
Email [email protected] from the email address you sign in to Bia with, with the subject "Delete my Bia account". We’ll delete it within 7 days and email you when it’s done. We may ask you to confirm it’s you.
What’s deleted
- your account and sign-in email;
- your profile (name, town, plot type, bio and settings);
- your plot, plantings, jobs, harvests and notes;
- your posts and their photos;
- who you follow, who follows you, and green thumbs;
- blocks and reports you’ve made.
What’s kept, and for how long
- Backups: copies in our database provider’s backups are removed as those backups expire, within 30 days.
- Founding grower payments: we keep the payment record (email address, amount, date and Stripe reference) for 6 years, because tax law requires it. If you later sign up again with the same email address, your founding grower plan comes back.
- Subscriptions: deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Apple and Google keep their own records of your purchases under their own policies.
