How to plant fruit

Planting canes, crowns and bushes while dormant, at the right depth, with a good soak and a mulch.

  1. Plant while the plant is dormant, from late autumn to early spring, when the ground isn’t frozen.

  2. Dig a wide hole, spread the roots out and plant at the same depth as before.

  3. Firm in, water well and mulch.
